Earthquake With A Magnitude Of 2.8 Occurs In Labuha, Maluku

JAKARTA - An earthquake with a magnitude of 2.8 occurred in Labuha, Maluku, at 00:58 WIB, Friday, October 22.

The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stated that the epicenter of the earthquake was 67 kilometers (km) north of Obi-North Maluku with an earthquake depth of 10 KM at coordinates 0.74 LS-127.63 East Longitude.

"Be careful of possible aftershocks," he said.

Based on the MMI scale, the earthquake was in category III and was felt up to Labuha.
