Luhut: Want To Quickly Overcome COVID-19? Just Imitate Germany And Taiwan

JAKARTA - There are many ways to deal with the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak. According to the Coordinating Minister for Maritime Affairs and Investment Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, the most effective way is to follow the steps taken by Germany and Taiwan in overcoming the COVID-19 pandemic.

"Germany, Taiwan and Russia are categorized as countries that are quickly recovering from this situation," said Luhut Pandjaitan during the Signing of the Partnership Agreement for the Placement of State Funds for National Economic Recovery in Jakarta, quoted from Antara, Monday, July 27.

Luhut Pandjaitan stated that the three countries were very compact and prioritized synergy in dealing with the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic so that recovery could be carried out quickly.

"There is an analysis that Germany is the fastest to deal with COVID-19. This is on the grounds that they synergize very closely," said Luhut.

Therefore, Luhut appealed to the government and the people of Indonesia to unite and unite in solving the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We hope everyone will be compact and integrated to solve this problem," said Luhut.

According to him, the current crisis is not the time to be the best and blame one another, but rather complement each other.

"There should not be any blame if there is a shortage of one place from our friends to improve each other. Not in one atmosphere is the best in this context," said Luhut Pandjaitan.

However, Luhut said that various government programs to restore the national economy were getting better.

"I hope this program can make Indonesia better. I'm sure it can be done because our team work is getting better and better," said Luhut Pandjaitan.
