Bogor Free Its Citizens To Sacrifice In All Areas
JAKARTA - Residents of Bogor Regency do not need to worry about carrying out Eid al-Adha prayers and slaughtering sacrificial animals in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic. The local government frees its citizens to slaughter kurman in any zone.
This has received the blessing of the Bogor Regency Government together with the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) and the Bogor Regency Ministry of Religion (Kemenag) Office. However, residents must strictly enforce health protocols.
"The place for the Eid al-Adha prayer and the slaughter of sacrificial animals can be carried out in all areas of Bogor Regency by implementing strict health protocols," said Bogor Regent Ade Yasin as reported by Antara, Sunday, July 26.
Some of the provisions of the joint agreement regarding the health protocol for the implementation of Eid al-Adha and the slaughter of sacrificial animals in 1441 Hijriah were outlined in a Circular (SE) for the people of Bogor Regency.
There are three major points in the circular of the provisions of the health protocol. Apart from allowing its implementation in all zones, two other points are regarding its implementation which is only allowed in mosques, and regarding the procedures for slaughtering sacrificial animals according to standard health protocols.
In addition, the head of the Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 in Bogor Regency said that in general the rules for Eid al-Adha prayer are the same as the rules for Eid prayer which can be carried out in congregation at nearby neighborhood mosques.
"The prayers act like Eid al-Fitr in their respective regions, they do not go anywhere," he said.
For information, as of Sunday, July 26, there are still 27 sub-districts in Bogor Regency with the status of the red zone of COVID-19 transmission, then nine sub-districts with yellow zone status, and four sub-districts in the green zone.
