Waiting For Further Legal Processes For Anita Kolopaking, Lawyer Djoko Tjandra
JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri investigators continue to investigate the alleged involvement of lawyer Djoko Tjandra Anita Kolopaking related to his client's pass. Then, will Anita Kolopaking be a suspect in this case?
The head of the National Police's Criminal Investigation Agency, Komjen Pol Listyo Sigit Prabowo, cannot answer that. It's just that, he said, there was a further legal process after preventing Anita Kolopaking from abroad.
"If it has been banned, of course there will be special actions," said Komjen Sigit, quoted by Antara, Sunday, July 26.
However, unfortunately he did not specify the specific action in question. Asked whether his special action was to raise Anita's status as a suspect, he was reluctant to answer firmly. "Help start is his name," he said with a laugh.
It's just that, he said, preventive steps abroad have legal considerations. Namely for his role in facilitating Djoko Tjandra's trip to Jakarta and Pontianak, West Kalimantan.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Pol Raden Prabowo Argo Yuwono, said that investigators prevented Anita Kolopaking from leaving the country in connection with the interests of investigating a case of alleged letter forgery.
"Efforts are made to prevent cases of letter forgery," said Argo.
Previously, the National Police's Criminal Investigation Team submitted a request for prevention of leaving the country against Anita Dewi Anggraeni Kolopaking, fugitive lawyer Djoko Tjandra, to the Head of the Special Class I Immigration Office at Soekarno-Hatta Airport on July 22, 2020.
The letter of prevention numbered B / 3022 / VII / 2020 / Dittipidum dated July 22, 2020, signed by the Director of General Crimes of Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol Ferdy Sambo.
The reason the investigators at the Directorate of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri submitted a request for a ban at Immigration was because they were carrying out an investigation into the alleged criminal act of letter forgery and an official deliberately allowed people who were deprived of their liberty to escape or escape, deliberately hiding people who had committed crimes or who were prosecuted for crimes and / or provide assistance to him to avoid investigation or detention by judicial officials or the police.
This is referred to in Article 263 of the Criminal Code and Article 426 of the Criminal Code and / or Article 221 of the Criminal Code, which was allegedly committed by the reported party, Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo, which occurred from 1 June 2020 to 19 June in Jakarta and Pontianak, West Kalimantan.
The prevention of going out of Anita Kolopaking's country is valid for 20 days from 22 July 2020.
Bareskrim has also initiated investigations (SPDP) of letter forgery as referred to in Article 263 of the Criminal Code, Article 421 of the Criminal Code and / or Article 221 of the Criminal Code which is allegedly carried out by the reported Brigadier General Prasetyo Utomo and friends.
