15 Positive COVID-19 Patients At The Athlete's House Decreased
JAKARTA - There are 15 less patients who have confirmed positive COVID-19 cases at the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital, Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
This was conveyed by the Information Officer of the Combined Regional Defense Command I (Kogabwilhan I) Marine Colonel Aris Mudian in his written statement.
"There are 1,559 confirmed positive patients, or 15 less from the previous 1,574," said Aris Mudian, Sunday, July 26.
Aris said that 23 people with suspected COVID-19 were hospitalized at the Wisma Atlet Hospital.
According to him, the total number of inpatients at the Emergency Hospital handling COVID-19 has now reached 1,582 people. They consisted of 894 men and 688 women.
Previously, Aris reported that the total number of inpatients at the Wisma Atlet Hospital was 1,597, consisting of 933 men and 664 women, last Saturday.
From this data, there was a decrease in the number of male patients who tested positive for COVID-19 by 39 people. However, there is an increase in the number of female patients who have tested positive for COVID-19 by 24 people.
Since March 23, RSD Wisma Atlet has been visited by various categories of COVID-19 patients, up to 8,060 people.
Aris said that as many as 5,619 people had left the Wisma Atlet Hospital, namely 5,426 people who had recovered, were referred to other hospitals as many as 188 people, and three people died.
When it was inaugurated by President Joko Widodo (Jokowi), as a special hospital for handling COVID-19 on March 23, 2020, RSD Wisma Atlet has a capacity of 12,000 people.
The Joint Regional Defense Command I was appointed by the government through the TNI Headquarters to operate the Athlete House which was previously a place to stay for athletes during the 2018 Asian Games (Asian Games).
The Joint Regional Defense Command I is responsible for operationalizing five centers for the treatment and handling of COVID-19, namely the Wisma Atlet Emergency Hospital (Jakarta), similar facilities on Sebaru Island, Seribu Islands (Jakarta) and on Natuna Island (Riau Islands), and Special Hospital Galang Island infection (Riau Islands).
