32 Participants Who Passed The Selection For Candidate Members Of The Judicial Commission
JAKARTA - The selection committee (pansel) for the selection of Candidate Members of the Judicial Commission (KY) announced 32 names of participants who passed the online public test to become members of the KY 2020-2025.
"Of the 54 participants in the online public test, the selection of candidates for the Judicial Commission, which passed was 32 people," said the head of the committee, Maruarar Siahaan, as reported by Antara, Saturday, July 25.
Participants who have passed the online public test are required to take part in the next stage of selection, namely the "profile assessment" which will be held on Monday and Tuesday, August 3-4 2020 at 07.30 WIB until completion at the Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat) of the Ministry of State Secretariat Jalan Gaharu I No 1 Cilandak, South Jakarta.
"Participants are expected to also follow the COVID-19 handling protocol and show the results of the 'rapid test' with the results of the examination no later than 7 days before the test. The 'Rapid test' is held independently by the participants," added Maruarar.
Participants who do not attend the "profile assessment" are immediately declared void.
"The selection committee also hopes for input from the public on the names of the candidates for the selection of candidates for the Judicial Commission who have passed the online public test," said Maruarar.
Input can be submitted by post to the Secretariat of the Selection Committee from 24 July - 4 August 2020 at 16.00 WIB at the Ministry of State Secretariat, Building 1 Floor 2, Jl. Veteran No. 18, Central Jakarta 10110 or by e-mail to panselky2020@setneg.go.id.
A number of names that also passed the administrative selection include former Chairman of the Witness and Victim Protection Agency (LPSK) Abdul Haris Semendawai, 2016-2021 Indonesian Ombudsman Member Adrianus Eliasta Meliala, Chairman of the 2016-2021 RI Ombudsman Amzulian Rifai.
In addition, three members of KY for the 2015-2020 period also passed, namely Sukma Violetta, Joko Sasmito and Sumartoyo. Meanwhile, from the judge's element, there was a Banten high judge who was also a judge who had tried the cyanide coffee case Jessica Kumala Wongso, Binsar Gultom.
The term of office for members of KY 2015-2020 will end in December 2020. The Pansel will reduce the names of the participants to 14 names to be given to the President and later the President will choose 7 people to be brought by the DPR.
The election committee for KY candidates is chaired by Maruarar Siahaan with members namely Harkristuti Harkrisnowo, Edward Omar Sharif Hiariej, Ahmad Fikri Assegaf and I Dewa Gede Palguna.
