There were three places reviewed by Social Minister Risma, namely Mambaul Hikam Islamic Boarding School, Burneh District, Nurul Amanah Islamic Boarding School, Tanah Merah District, and Logek Village, Galis District, Bangkalan Regency.
Social Minister Risma was accompanied by members of Commission VIII DPR RI Muhammad Ali Ridho and Hasani Bin Zuber, Member of Committee III DPD Ahmad Nawardi, Regent of Bangkalab R. Abdul Latif Amin Imron, Deputy Regent Mohni and Forkopimda Bangkalan.
"Later we will evaluate the acceleration in Bangkalan. If it is good, we will also do it in other areas," said the former Surabaya Mayor.
The vaccination program at the two Islamic boarding schools was followed by the students as well as the general public. On that occasion, he motivated residents who were afraid of vaccines and asked them not to be afraid, because vaccines protect residents from contagion of COVID-19.

Social Minister Risma also distributed assistance to the community, the elderly, and groups with disabilities. Assistance in the form of premium rice was given to 18,000 residents, which was divided into 18 sub-districts so that each sub-district received 1,000 rice aid packages weighing five kilograms per family.
Those from the disability group also received assistance, such as sticks with detectors given to people with visual impairments. It is hoped that this tool can help the visually impaired in an emergency.
"We want blind people to be safe in an emergency," he said.
Regarding the distribution of regular social assistance, Risma is still monitoring the extent to which the aid is distributed according to the target.
On that occasion, he also guided the elderly to take help by using an ATM (Automated Teller Machine) without a PIN (Personal Identification Number).

To the residents, he advised that if they experienced difficulties related to social welfare services, they should report it to the village head and it would be forwarded to the regent for further submission to him as the Minister of Social Affairs.

The Ministry of Social Affairs distributes various types of assistance, namely entrepreneurship assistance, basic needs assistance, accessibility assistance, and Social Rehabilitation Assistance (Attention) assistance for persons with disabilities, orphans, orphans, and orphans.
The assistance reached 2,022 beneficiaries in various forms, including food stalls, furniture, food, LPG sales, workshops, carpenters, nutrition, masks, and hand sanitizer with a total value of Rp. 657,322,000.
