JAKARTA - Lenovo and Asus ROG are simultaneously releasing their gaming smartphones. Both of these phones have high-end gaming specifications that will provide an interesting experience for its users.

First there is the Asus ROG Phone 3, under the auspices of the sub-brand Republik of Gamers (ROG) this phone is the successor of the Asus gaming smartphone series. This phone is equipped with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G chipset, which is reliable for gobbling up heavyweight games.

ROG Phone 3 has a FullHD + AMOLED screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 6.59 inch size which is equipped with a fingerprint on display. As the successor to the ROG Phone series, this phone is already running the Android 10 operating system (OS) with the ROG UI interface.

While Lenovo Legion is also confirmed to use the same chipset as ROG Phone 3, namely the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Plus 5G. The Lenovo Legion System-on-Chip (SoC) is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

5. Price

Asus also presents the Asus ROG Phone 3 Strix Edition variant which uses the regular Snapdragon 865 chipset with 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM for Rp. 13.5 million.

As a new competitor in the gaming smartphone competition, Lenovo has not provided detailed information regarding the price of the cellphone and the accessories it will sell. This is likely due to the new Lenovo Legion Phone being marketed in China first before other countries.

However, it is estimated that if the Lenovo gaming cellphone enters Indonesia it will be sold at a price of around IDR 8.1 million for the 12 / 128GB variant and IDR 12.5 million in the highest variant with 16 / 512GB.
