South Tangerang Mayor Airin Rachmi Diany explained that online motorcycle taxis are one of the transportation tools that are very reliable for the people of South Tangerang City.
"Currently, Indonesia is still in a disaster emergency status. So, I hope that Grab can comply with health protocols when transporting passengers, "said Airin.
Head of Public Affairs Grab Indonesia Tri Sukma Anreianno explained, there are 6 protocols that must be done by Grab partners when transporting passengers.
First, maintaining passenger and driver health protocols. Then, check the driver's health regularly.
Furthermore, Grab imposes a penalty when passengers or drivers do not wear masks.
Then the fourth is disinfection of the vehicles used. "Here we call the driver to disinfect the vehicle. Get them used to cleaning vehicles using disinfectants, ”he said.
Fifth, drivers need to recommend using non-cash transactions. This is an effort to reduce direct interaction between drivers and customers. So that there is no skin-to-skin contact.
"Finally, all grab drivers must carry a hand sanitizer. This is to protect yourself when interacting with customers. And helping customers stay free from viruses, "he said.
