NOAH's Appearance Sweet Cover Of PON XX Papua

JAYAPURA - The song "Separuh Aku" by the band NOAH also enlivened the closing ceremony of the XX Papua National Sports Week (PON) at the Lukas Enembe Stadium, Kampung Harapan, Jayapura Regency.

The audience, mostly millennials and young people, were so enthusiastic about singing and swaying together to the strains of the song sung by Nazril Irham, Ariel NOAH's real name.

Athletes and officials who were on the pitch at the Lukas Enembe Stadium were not shy about showing their happiness and joy following the closing ceremony of the four-yearly national sporting event.

One by one the lights from cell phones were turned on by the audience from the stadium stands. The colorful lights added to the lively atmosphere on Friday night at the stadium which has the same name as the regional head in the easternmost province of Indonesia.

"Again.. again.. PON Papua is cool," said David, a spectator who jumped up and down while singing one of NOAH's songs as reported by Antara, Friday, October 15

A total of five songs were performed by NOAH to entertain thousands of spectators at the Lukas Enembe Stadium. The song titled "Open Your Mask First" ended up being the last strain sung by NOAH.

"All hands above, let's make the biggest applause in Papua," Ariel said in between the closing songs.

The closing ceremony at the Lukas Enembe Stadium was marked by the explosion of fireworks and the cheers of the audience, all of whom were even willing to stay in their seats until the end of the event.

PON XX Papua, which has been taking place since October 2, 2021, was officially closed by Vice President Ma'ruf Amin.
