COVID-19 Update As Of October 14: 915 New Cases, 1,408 People Healed
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) released the latest additional positive cases of COVID-19 as of today. A total of 267,338 specimens were examined with the result that there were 915 new positive cases of COVID-19.
"The total accumulation of positive cases since COVID-19 was discovered in Indonesia has reached 4,233,014 people and 19,318 active cases," said Ministry of Health data, Friday, October 15.
Today's recovered cases increased by 1,408 cases, bringing the total to 4,070,807 people recovered. Then, the positive confirmed cases who died increased by 41 people and a total of 142,889 people.
The province with the most new cases is DKI Jakarta with 124 cases and a total of 859,860 cases. Followed by Central Java with 86 new cases with a total of 483,747 cases. West Java has 85 new cases and a total of 704,292 cases. Then, East Java with 81 new cases and a total of 397,183 cases.
The province with the most recovered cases today is East Java with an additional 132 recovered cases. Followed by Central Java with an increase of 130 recovered cases, South Sulawesi with an additional 107 recovered cases, and West Java with an additional 100 recovered cases.
There is 1 province that reported no new cases today, namely Maluku. In addition, the number of specimens that have been examined using RT-PCR, TCM, and antigens reached 42,892,863.
"Positive results per number of people tested or this week's positivity rate of 0.86 percent," he wrote.
For the number of people suspected of contracting COVID-19 or currently categorized as suspected cases, 487,364.
To date, 105,464,686 people have received the first dose of COVID-19 vaccination and 61,397,055 people have received the second dose of vaccination.
While the third dose of vaccination was 1,052,705. Meanwhile, the target for vaccination in Indonesia is 208,265,720 people.
