President Joko Widodo Inaugurates The Meruorah Hotel In Labuan Bajo NTT, A Project Working On PTPP

JAKARTA - The state-owned construction company, PT PP (Persero) Tbk, also attended the inauguration of the Meruorah Hotel located in Labuan Bajo, East Nusa Tenggara. President Joko Widodo directly inaugurated the Meruorah Hotel which was symbolically marked by the signing of an inscription.

The inauguration ceremony was also attended and accompanied by SOE Minister Erick Thohir, Minister of Public Works and Public Housing Basuki Hadimuljono, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, Deputy Minister of BUMN I Pahala Nugraha Mansury, Deputy Minister of BUMN II Kartika Wirjoatmodjo, Governor of East Nusa Tenggara Viktor Bungtilu Laiskodat , President Director of PTPP Novel Arsyad.

Then President Director of PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) (ASDP) Ira Puspadewi, President Director of PT Hotel Indonesia Group Qodie Ibrahim, and other officials. The inauguration ceremony was held at the Meruorah Hotel, Labuan Bajo on Thursday 4 October by implementing strict COVID-19 health protocols.

Meruorah Komodo Labuan Bajo Hotel, previously known as Inaya Bay Komodo Hotel, is part of the Labuan Bajo Integrated Area owned and managed by PT Indonesia Ferry Properti (IFPRO).

IFPRO is a joint venture company owned by two state-owned companies, namely PTPP and ASDP. Currently, IFPRO is building the Labuan Bajo Marina Integrated Area in East Nusa Tenggara which includes a commercial area, five-star hotel, marina and the development of a ferry dock.

Meruorah Hotel is a five-star hotel that carries the local wisdom of the East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) region by using elements of NTT's typical woven fabric and the natural beauty of Labuan Bajo which is contained in the elegant interior design of the rooms and comes in design accents which are the hallmarks of the hotel. The hotel developed by IFPRO in the Marina Labuan Bajo area has operated by opening 145 room services consisting of five room types, namely: The Horizon Hill View, The Horizon Sea View, The Signature Hill View, The Signature Sea View, The Phinizy , and the Presidential Suite.

Meruorah Hotel is equipped with Merurorah Convention Center facilities which have eight meeting rooms, the executive lounge, the bay restaurant, moon bar, Café et Lobby, swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and promenade.
