Mas Gibran Gives A Cool Response In The Polemic Of Banteng Vs Boar: Mr. Ganjar, My Boss, All Mentors

SOLO - Solo Mayor Gibran Rakabuming Raka responded to the polemic of a bull versus a wild boar. These PDI-P cadres do not want to bother with supporting certain figures ahead of the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

"I just focus on dealing with COVID," Gibran said in Solo, Friday, October 15.

The banteng versus boar polemic began with Ganjar Pranowo's declaration in the 2024 presidential election by the PDIP Purworejo DPC administrator, Albertus Sumbogo.

In response to the declaration, Central Java PDIP DPD Chairman Bambang Wuryanto called them wild boars (boars). The title is for a bull cadre who is out of line.

For Gibran, his close relationship with Ganjar Pranowo is an ordinary relationship in the bureaucracy. As mayor, Gibran must coordinate with Ganjar because he is the Governor of Central Java.

Moreover, within PDIP internally, Ganjar is a senior figure or mentor who can share experiences in leadership.

"I am close to all of them, I consider them as seniors as mentors. This is not support, Mr. Ganjar is my boss, whatever it is, I will definitely consult him," explained Gibran.

Deputy Chairperson of the Purworejo Regency PDI-P DPC, Albertus Sumbogo, was summoned by the PDI-P Central Executive Board today, at 14.00 WIB.

The summons related to the declaration of the SGI Purworejo, supporting the Governor of Central Java, Ganjar Pranowo to run in the 2024 presidential election.

"Yes, that's right, at 2 o'clock. Yes (regarding the declaration, ed)," he said briefly when contacted by VOI, Thursday, October 15.
