Deputy Mayor Of Solo Affected By COVID-19, PDIP: Friends In Solo Increase Immunity
JAKARTA - PDI-P Secretary General Hasto Kristiyanto asked the people of Solo City, Central Java to increase their immunity after hearing that his cadre, who was the Deputy Mayor of Solo, Achmad Purnomo, had contracted COVID-19.
"We encourage all colleagues in Solo to increase their immunity," said Hasto in a webinar, Friday, July 24.
Furthermore, he hopes Purnomo will have the spirit to fight the virus so that he can fight COVID-19 and be declared healthy again. Hasto believes Purnomo will receive the best care from the team of doctors.
"Of course the PDIP ranks because we have a good relationship with Pak Purnomo we hope that he will be healthy soon and we believe the team of doctors will pay great attention," he said.
"Pak Rudi, we encourage to increase body immunity," he added.
Previously, the Deputy Mayor of Surakarta, Achmad Purnomo, tested positive for COVID-19 based on the results of the swab test he took on Saturday, July 18. "Yes, positive, currently he is undergoing independent isolation," said Surakarta Ahyani, Head of the Daily Task Force for the Acceleration of Handling COVID-19 in the City of Surakarta, quoted by Antara, Friday, July 24.
He said that after taking the swab test himself, Purnomo attended the plenary meeting. In fact, on Thursday, July 16, Purnomo had a history of travel from Jakarta. Therefore, there will be a swab test on the results of Purnomo's close contact tracing.
Meanwhile, when contacted, Purnomo was reluctant to explain his status. He asked that his condition be immediately asked to the Health Office.
He said he had taken the swab test twice, namely on Friday and Saturday last week. He said the first swab test was negative. However, until now there have been no complaints.
