Now Google Search Results On Mobile Will Continue Down Without Moving Pages

JAKARTA- Google Search has introduced continuous scrolling on mobile. This new feature makes it easier for users to go down the "rabbit hole". This is just the latest update to help users find what they are looking for.

Google announced on their blog at the start of the year a redesign for Search on mobile. Updates make text easier to read and important information to stand out more. The internet giant has made other adjustments as well. Google has also added the best deals to the shopping section.

This year, Google has also made it easier for iPhone users to clear their search history. Users can find out everything they want about their favorite celebrity while also cleaning them up afterwards. All iOS users have to do is open the Google Search app, click "More," then select "Delete last 15 minutes".

Google added another feature announced on its blog, keep scrolling for Google Search. Instead of clicking "See more" at the bottom of the page, the results will update automatically, making for a smoother experience for the user.

The tech company started rolling out the update on Thursday for most iOS and Android devices for English in the US, so some users may notice a delay in receiving the new service. Text ads are also getting an overhaul.

Google told Tech Crunch that text ads will appear from the top of the "second page onwards." There will also be fewer text ads at the bottom of the page. Shopping and Local Ads will remain the same.

Best Tips to Take Advantage of Continuous Scrolling

Google mentions on its blog that most people will find what they are looking for in the first few search results, but there are cases where one might want more results.

For example, a user might want costume ideas for Halloween. They may want to browse where to buy costumes, do-it-yourself options, and other people's costumes from past years.

Maybe someone wants recipe ideas for what to do with Thanksgiving leftovers. This requires more results than just a few. And now, users can keep scrolling until they have all the inspiration they need. Or, as previously mentioned, users might just want to read about their favorite celebrities.

Some users may feel unnerved by the update because all they need is one page of search results. Now, there will be no stopping point. They had to pull themselves out of the abyss. Happy searching
