Lawyer Djoko Tjandra, Anita Kolopaking Prohibited Abroad

JAKARTA - Bareskrim Polri submitted a request for prevention abroad against lawyer Djoko Tjandra, Anita Kolopaking at the Head of the Class I Immigration Office at Soekarno-Hatta Airport.

"Yesterday, July 22, the investigating team from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police also sent a letter to the Special Class I Immigration Office at Soekarno-Hatta Airport in Jakarta. Then the issue is a request for prevention of abroad on behalf of Anita Dewi Anggraeni Kolopaking," said Head of Public Relations of the Indonesian Police Inspector General of Police Argo Yuwono at the Office. Bareskrim Polri, Jakarta, Friday, 24 July.

Argo explained, the letter number B / 3022 / VII / 2020 / Dittipidum was signed by the Director of General Crimes at Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol Ferdy Sambo.

Argo said that the ban was carried out because his party was investigating the alleged criminal act of the issuance of the Djoko Tjandra road certificate by former Karo Korwas PPNS Bareskrim Polri Brigadier General Pol Prasetyo Utomo.

"So the investigators at the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police are carrying out an investigation into the alleged criminal act of letter forgery," he said.

Argo added that the prevention of leaving Anita Kolopaking's country was valid for 20 days from July 22, 2020.

"For 20 days from July 22," said Argo.

Meanwhile, Anita has been examined twice as a witness by investigators from the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police regarding the issuance of the Djoko Tjandra road letter.

There is a strong suspicion that Anita was asked for an explanation regarding Djoko Tjandra's escape. Because, some time ago, a photo of Anita and Djoko Tjandra appeared in front of a private plane.

Previously, Prasetyo had been removed from the post of Head of the Coordination and Supervision Bureau of the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit and transferred to the Yanma Polri section for examination.

The transfer of office was in the aftermath of the issuance of a travel letter by Prasetyo for Djoko Tjandra. Prasetyo is known to have issued a pass for Djoko Tjandra on his own initiative without the leadership's permission.

Prasetyo is considered to have done things that exceed his authority. For his actions, Prasetyo will be subject to sanctions by the National Police code of ethics, disciplinary and criminal sanctions.
