Says Former KPK Employee When Invited To Join A Political Party
JAKARTA - Former Head of the Drafting of Regulations and Legal Products of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Rasamala Aritonang opened his voice regarding a number of offers from political parties that wanted to invite him to join.
This offer follows Rasmala's own statement about her desire to form a political party. He admitted that he would first communicate with his colleagues about the invitation. "First I want to say thank you for the offers. However, I want to come back again, we are still consolidating with friends, still finalizing the concept, and we are also still working on this. I want to confirm first," said Rasamala in a statement, Thursday, October 14. He admitted, so far he is still finalizing his desire to enter the world of politics. The man who did not pass the KPK TWK said he would meet several figures first regarding his wishes. "At the beginning I said we wanted to meet with several figures to ask for insight, ask for perspectives to jointly see the possibilities that can be explored," Rasalama said.
Rasamala said that for now he is still holding on to the initial idea, namely establishing a new party, not joining the old party. The new party that he wants to establish is the United Liberation Party. "However, while we must first consolidate to the inside and still stick to the idea that it is necessary to form a new party, the United Liberation Party, which has already been submitted," he said. does not rule out the possibility that in the future he can join the old political party that intends to ask for his hand. "But there are many possibilities, and we have to consolidate it with our friends internally first while going through the whole process," said Rasamala.
Previously, Rasamala Aritonang had the intention of forming a political party. According to Rasamala, there is an opportunity to make big changes if they can form a political party.
Rasamala Aritonang is one of 57 employees who were fired by the KPK because they did not pass the National Insight Test (TWK). Rasamala and 56 other anti-corruption agency employees are considered ineligible (TMS) to become State Civil Apparatus (ASN). , Wednesday, October 13.
Invited to Join Political Parties from PKP to PKS
Secretary General of the Justice and Unity Party (PKP) Said Salahudin, said his party opened the door wide for 57 former employees of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) who wanted to join a political party.
"The PKP in its statutes is clearly an open party. Anyone, any group will fight to become a stronghold of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia. As long as the vision is the same as the PKP, it is open to anyone, including former KPK employees. You can't discriminate," said Said to VOI, Thursday, October 14.
According to him, the former KPK employee is in line with the PKP in terms of eradicating corruption. In fact, Said, Chairman of the PKP Yussuf Solichien, even dared to say in front of President Jokowi that had they not violated the law, the corruptors should have just been shot dead. Especially for those who steal state money when the people are in trouble.
"This shows that the PKP's commitment to corruption eradication is strong. So, Mr. Yusuf Solihin said that before the president he met not once but twice. He also conveyed it twice," said Said.
According to Said, all former KPK employees are credible people who have no problems with the state. So, of course, the PKP embraces people who want to fight together against corruption. "When institutions like the Indonesian National Police are willing to accept them, it means that they actually have no problem for the state. The credible evidence is that the Police are willing to accept them, ready to accept them," said Said. "So the position is the same as the other 57 former KPK employees in terms of the spirit to make this country a country free from corruption. Not the 57 but even hundreds of millions of people who have the same spirit," he continued.
In addition, the Democratic Party also glanced at Rasamala and other KPK employees who were fired because they did not pass the national insight test (TWK). The member of Commission III has no problem if his offer is rejected. He only responded to the desire of former KPK employees to form a party. "The blue carpet (Democrats) is much quicker to pick him up (ex-KPK employee) anywhere," said Hinca, Thursday, October 14.
Meanwhile, Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Ace Hasan Syadzily, invited 57 former KPK employees who wanted to form or join political parties. According to him, it is the political right of all Indonesian citizens.
"It is the political right of every citizen to establish a political party. For us, anyone who wants to join a party, of course, we are very open," said Ace at the DPR Building, Thursday, October 14.
The chairman of the PKS DPP, Mardani Ali Sera, said the same thing. He also invited 57 former KPK employees to form or join political parties. The reason is, they are no longer state civil apparatus (ASN) so they can make their political choices.
"Please, because you are no longer ASN, you have the right to join a political party," said Mardani to VOI, Thursday, October 14.
The member of Commission II of the DPR said that his party was open if the former KPK employees wanted to join the party led by Ahmad Syaikhu. Moreover, he said, corruption has always been the main issue highlighted by PKS.
"PKS is open to all. The act of eradicating corruption has always been one of the main issues of PKS," said Mardani.
