Handing Over 6 Rifles And The Morning Star Flag, KSB Sympathizer Fernando Worabai Repents: Free Papua Nonsense!
PAPUA - Dandrem 173/PVB Brigadier General Iwan Setiawan admitted that he had received the handover of six homemade weapons from sympathizers of the armed civilian group (KSB) led by Fernando Worabai.
The six bullets along with bullets and other evidence, including the Free Papua Morning Star flag and documents were handed over by EW and EJR to the intelligence unit office of Kodim 1709/YW on Tuesday, 12 October.
"The surrender of the firearms and ammunition and various documents was carried out after an approach by personnel from the 1709/Yawa Military Command, Serui Police and the intelligence community," Iwan said as quoted by Antara, Thursday, October 14.
During his working visit to Serui, last Wednesday, Dandrem claimed to have met the two former KSBs with the Forkompinda of Yapen Islands Regency in Serui.
In the meeting, both of them conveyed that the surrender was done out of awareness. The struggle for Papuan independence is nonsense. Both believe that Papua is part of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia.
Development has been carried out in various areas. Especially now that the XX PON is being held in Papua to ensure that Papua is part of the Republic of Indonesia.
The two also hoped that Fernando Worabai would return to the NKRI and forget his failure when he took the NCO test.
"It's time to think about the future of the children who are the future of Papua," said Dandrem 173/PVB citing the statements of the two.
