Kasminto's Grandfather In Demak Becomes A Suspect For Slashing A Thief
JAKARTA - The National Police Headquarters confirmed that the investigation process at the Demak Police Station, Central Java, regarding the determination of the suspect Kasminto's grandfather was in accordance with the procedure. Kasminto's grandfather became a suspect for slashing the suspected thief in the fish pond he was guarding.
"Demak Police, Central Java Police have carried out investigations according to legal procedures," said Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Public Relations Division Kombes Ahmad Ramadhan to reporters, Thursday, October 14.
The incident started on September 7 when residents found a young man with stab wounds to the left arm and right neck. This young man was taken to the puskesmas and other residents made a report to the Demak Police.
"After the youth's condition improved, the next day the police conducted interviews with Demak Police personnel for the stabbing victim. Also a number of witnesses who first found the young man. Based on the confession, the police met Kasminto and Kasminto was suspected of being the person who carried out the stabbing and took Kasminto to the Demak Police Station," continued Ramadhan.
The police report filed a stabbing victim's complaint on September 8th. Currently, the stabbing case with the suspect Kasminto's grandfather has been transferred to the Prosecutor's Office.
“After that, in October, there was a theft report where the report was reported by the land owner who made a report on October 11 about his fish pond having been looted by thieves. The report is October 11, the theft is September 7, we have to straighten it out," said Ramadhan.
From the report of the theft in the fish pond guarded by Kasminto's grandfather, investigators conducted an in-depth investigation and gathered evidence and examined witnesses.
"Then after the facts were collected by investigators, the resident with the initial M was named a suspect. Then, the Demak Police underlined that the handling of the two cases was carried out professionally and procedurally according to applicable regulations," said Ramadhan.
