IPhone 13 Starts Appearing On Apple Indonesia Website But No Price Yet
JAKARTA – Apple may soon sell the iPhone 13 in the Indonesian market. This is known from the official Apple Indonesia website, where a row of iPhone 13 has been displayed on the page including the iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, iPhone 13 Mini, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The Apple Indonesia site also displays the specifications of the iPhone 13 along with a series of features it carries. In addition, the Apple Watch Series 7, iPad 9 and iPad Mini 6 smartwatches were also displayed. "A new super power in your hands," Apple wrote about the Apple Watch Series 7 smartwatch on its official website.
However, Apple Indonesia seems to be keeping the price and release date of the new iPhone 13, Apple Watch Series 7, and iPad a secret. The Apple Indonesia page only wrote the description "check again for availability information".
The emergence of the iPhone 13 family in the country can actually be seen since the iPhone 13 model received a Domestic Component Level (TKDN) certificate from the Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin).
On the official website of the Ministry of Industry, you can find the iPhone 13 TKDN certificate with the number 10422/SJ-IND.8/TKDN/9/2021. The certificate was issued on September 30, 2021. While in the brand and type column, there are four cellphones that have received a TKDN value of 30 percent. This value is a requirement for 4G devices to be marketed in the country.
The four cellphones are iPhone model A2628 (iPhone 13), iPhone model A2633 (iPhone 13 Mini), iPhone model A2638 (iPhone 13 Pro), iPhone model A2643 (iPhone 13 Pro Max. While other Apple's latest products such as Apple Watch Series 7 and The iPad Mini 6 and iPad 9 have already pocketed the TKDN certificate in early October.
The TKDN certificate indicates that the Apple device can soon be marketed in Indonesia. The new iPhone 13, Apple Watch, and iPad are likely to go on sale in late 2021, sometime in November and December. Even so, the prediction can go forward or backward according to Apple's own decision.
