Introducing, This Is The 'New' BRI Logo On The 126th Anniversary, The Work Of A 20-Year-Old Youth From Sukoharjo, Central Java

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BRI) Tbk published a new logo for the 126th Anniversary of BRI which was chosen from the winners of the competition. BRI Corporate Secretary (Persero) Aestika Oryza Gunarto said the winner of the 126th Anniversary Logo Design Contest which will fall on December 16 is a 20-year-old youth from Sukoharjo Regency, Central Java, named Alvian Suryo Panggalih (20).

Alvian describes his logo design by carrying the characteristics of dynamic, optimistic, and agile. The logo illustrates the spirit to always rise and grow to reach a common goal.

"Alvian is entitled to the grand prize of the BRI 126th Anniversary Logo Design Competition in the form of award money worth Rp. 30 million. In addition, the other 10 nominees each also received award money worth Rp. 1.5 million," said Aestika, quoted from Antara, Thursday 14 October.

Aestika said that BRI always releases an anniversary logo every year which is used as a communication medium for BRI's age journey as well as an effort to establish its identity as a bank that is experienced, tough and always provides the best for the Indonesian people.

“We thank and congratulate the winners for their creative ideas that represent BRI's philosophical values. We also hold this competition as a form of company appreciation for loyal BRI customers who have accompanied us on a long journey since 1895," he said.

The values depicted from the new logo are symbols of upward lines which have the meaning of growing, improving, and always getting better. The upward line also illustrates BRI's optimism in its contribution to encouraging and fully supporting the achievement of Indonesia Tangguh, Indonesia Growing.

The symbol of a threaded up shape has the meaning of strength, tenacity, and hard work, in achieving success. This is intended to illustrate the evidence of BRI's consistency and persistence in providing the best service for the welfare of the nation in the midst of the various challenges that have been passed.

Then the illustration of a human figure reaching a dream depicts BRI which is always present to give full contribution to the people of Indonesia in achieving their dreams and success through various programs and banking service products provided. Meanwhile, the arrow symbol represents BRI's speed and accuracy in innovating and adapting in the midst of uncertain times.

"With these philosophical values, the new logo design from Alvian is very in line with the theme of BRI's anniversary in 2021, namely Giving Meaning to Indonesia which has the understanding that BRI is the only place to work that provides opportunities for learning, achievement, growth and development. while at the same time contributing to advancing the Indonesian economy," said Aestika.
