Playing Domino Gambling, 5 Men In Banyuwangi Arrested By Police

BANYUWANGI - Five men were arrested by the Satreskrim team of the Cluring Police, Banyuwang, East Java. The five were arrested for playing domino gambling on the terrace of a local resident's house.

The five initials HS (55) and SR (55) residents of Tampo Village, Cluring District, SJ (53) along with AH (36) residents of Benculuk Village, Cluring District, and SW (65) residents of Mandar Village, Banyuwangi.

The Head of the Cluring Sector Police, Iptu Agus Priono, said that the five were caught playing QiuQiu gambling.

"Gambling is carried out on the terraces of residents' houses located in the Tampo Village area, Cluring District," he said, Thursday, October 14.

In addition to securing the five suspects, the police also secured a number of evidences including a set of dominoes, a plywood table unit, and Rp462 thousand in cash.

"We have secured the evidence and the perpetrators at Mapolsek," continued Iptu Agus.

To account for their actions, the five were charged with Article 303 of the Criminal Code concerning gambling.
