"On arrival, RT-PCR retests are carried out for international travelers and are required to undergo a 5x24 hour quarantine," Ganip wrote in SE, quoted Thursday, October 14.
With the enactment of SE No. 20 of 2021, SE No. 18 of 2021, Addendum of SE No. 18 of 2021, and Second Addendum of SE No. 18 of 2021 are revoked and declared invalid.
"This Circular is intended to implement health protocols for international travellers during the COVID-19 pandemic. The goal is to monitor, control, and evaluate in order to prevent an increase in the spread of COVID-19," said Ganip.
Another thing that international travelers must pay attention to is that a complete dose of vaccine certificate must state that it has been vaccinated at least 14 days before departure and is attached in English other than the language of the country of origin.
Then, foreign international travelers with the purpose of traveling to Indonesia can enter through airport entry points in Bali and the Riau Islands.
In addition to proof of vaccines and RT-PCR results for a maximum of 3x24 hours, travelers are also required to attach a short visit visa or other valid entry permit for foreigners, proof of ownership of insurance worth USD100,000 that covers financing for COVID-19, and proof of booking accommodation for a period of time. living in Indonesia. Furthermore, Ganip has also issued Decree Number 14 of 2021 concerning Entry Points, Quarantine Places, and RT-PCR Obligations for Indonesian Citizens who are International Travelers which are effective from 13 October to 31 December 2021 .
In this decree, Ganip stipulates entry points for international travelers, namely Soekarno Hatta Airport and Sam Ratulangi Airport; Batam, Tanjung Pinang, and Nunukan seaports; as well as Aruk and Entikong State Border Posts.
This decree also stipulates Wisma Pademangan as a quarantine place for Indonesian citizens traveling internationally who enter through the Soekarno Hatta airport entry point, Banten whose services include lodging, transportation, meals, and RT-PCR costs.
This quarantine place is specifically intended for Indonesian citizens with the status of Indonesian migrant workers who return to Indonesia and stay at least 14 days in Indonesia, students who return to Indonesia after attending education or carrying out study assignments abroad, and government employees who after traveling service abroad.
"With the stipulation of this decision, the Decree of the Head of the Task Force for Handling COVID-19 Number 13 of 2021 concerning Entry Points, Quarantine Places, and RT-PCR Obligations for Indonesian Citizens of International Travelers is revoked and declared invalid," he concluded. .
