Tomorrow, Labor Party Registers Party Court With The Ministry Of Law And Human Rights
JAKARTA - The Labor Party will register the composition of the party's court with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkum HAM) tomorrow, Thursday, October 14.
This step is to start the Labor Party administration process to participate in the 2024 general election contestation (Pemilu).
"After we consulted with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, namely the Director General of AHU, it turned out that it was preceded by registration of the party court. So on Thursday tomorrow we will register the party court first,” said Labor Party President Said Iqbal in his online press conference, Wednesday, October 13.
Said hopes that the proposed administrative process can be completed quickly so that the Labor Party can immediately take care of other processes.
"We hope that in a few days the Director General of AHU will issue a registration letter from the Labor Party Court, which has congress on 4 and 5 October," he said.
Said also explained the next plan after the party court was registered with the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. The Labor Party, he said, would register a notarial deed on the new management structure, which would be followed by the Articles of Association of the Bylaws (AD/ART).
Said is optimistic that the Labor Party's requirements can be declared complete. And the Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkum HAM) Yasonna Laoly can sign the decision letter of the Labor Party as a result of the October 4-5 Congress.
"Hopefully, in the not too distant future, Mr. Yasonna Laoly, who we respect, can sign a new decree on the Labor Party as a result of the IV Congress, 4-5 October 2021," concluded Said Iqbal.
