DEPOK - Residents of Gang Ciliwung Rt 05/01, Kemiri Muka Village, Beji sub-district, Depok city were shocked by the discovery of a man's corpse in a pile of garbage beside the Ciliwung river without an identity.
The characteristics of the bodies found were male, fat body, bald head and wearing blue clothes with red stripes without pants.
"The figure of the corpse is a man who has decomposed and is surrounded by flies, it is estimated that the corpse has been submerged for 3-4 days, it is suspected that the victim is a shipment because the volume of the river is quite heavy," said Binmas, Kemiri Muka Village, Aiptu Rodjudin, Wednesday, October 13.
Aiptu Rodjudin explained that the victim was immediately taken to the Kramat Jati Hospital, Jakarta.
"From the Beji Police, we asked for a post-mortem and the victim was immediately taken to the Kramat Jati Hospital in Jakarta for further identification," he said.
For the Beji sub-district itself, until now there have been no reports of loss of family members.
"If there are victims who fall here, the bodies are not found, even though they have been assisted by the SAR team as well, so if a body is found around here, it means it was sent from another area," said Iptu Rodjudin.
The bodies were successfully evacuated assisted by a team of lovers of the Ciliwung river who often do rafting activities on the banks of the Ciliwung river.
"I saw the position of the corpse lying face down near the pile of garbage in the river, the corpse was wearing a blue shirt, but not wearing pants, and actually yesterday afternoon the children who liked to swim in the river had seen the corpse but they thought it was just a doll," said Sari. .
