This Is What Yusril Said When He Was Accused Of Defending The Interests Of Invisible Power: Illusionary Thought

JAKARTA - Senior advocate Yusril Ihza Mahendra responded to the accusation by the Deputy Chairperson of the Democratic Party DPP, Benny Kabur Harman, that Yusril should be suspected of defending the interests of invisible power or certain powers that are not visible on the surface.

Previously, Benny also mentioned that Yusril et al used the legal thinking style of the Nazi leader, Adolf Hitler, in testing the party's AD/ART to the Supreme Court (MA).

The lawyer for the four Democratic cadres of the Moeldoko camp assessed that Benny et al's mindset was shrouded in illusions and assumptions made as if they were true.

"Benny and Democrat activists have never stopped playing in the gray area of political gossip. Their thoughts are full of illusions, all assumptions, but these allegations are made public as if they were the truth," said Yusril when confirmed by VOI, Wednesday, October 13.

In fact, Yusril continued, this was part of the Nazi-style agitation and propaganda techniques that he had studied.

He said Hitler did this by blaspheming the Polish leaders and degrading them as a psychic war before they invaded Poland.

"The Nazi-style agitation and propaganda techniques used by PD activists are not much different from what 'Friend Ahok' used to do," he said.

The same thing, according to him, is happening in AHY's current camp. They try to distort the real nature of the problem, namely the PD's AD/ART which clearly violates the UU and UUD 45 so that the leadership of the party is oligarchic and nepotistic.

"By building illusions on the basis of guesswork here and there to influence the public's mind," he explained.
Such methods, said Yusril, actually show the weak point of those who are unable to "face to face" debate legal issues related to the testing of the Democratic AD/ART. Even though Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono's (AHY) camp has pulled Hamdan Zoelva to face him.

"The arguments built by Hamdan, Zainal Arifin Mochtar, Feri Amsyari, Luthfi Yazid, etc., were easily broken one by one. They ran away from legal debates to political gossip with a "character assasination" style aimed at me personally," he explained.

Yusril added that his presence in Moeldoko's camp was professional. Namely, as an advocate who purely straightens AD/ART issues so as not to violate the applicable law. "I am an advocate, working to defend the legal interests of clients based on the power of attorney given. That is an undeniable fact. Beyond all that, it is speculation that can also be based on illusions," he explained.

Yusril questioned whether the Democrat Party's Articles of Association could protect Benny K Harman's political interests or not. According to him, it is possible as long as Benny does not threaten the oligarchs in AHY's camp.

"Benny is only a pawn on the surface. As long as he can still be used and does not interfere with the interests of the oligarchic establishment in PD. He must be aware, the more prominent he appears to the public, the more dangerous his position will be. He can be kicked out of the arena like other PD figures," concluded Yusril Ihza Mahendra.

Previously, the Deputy Chairperson of the Democratic Party DPP, Benny Kabur Harman, stated that Yusril Ihza Mahendra should be suspected of defending the interests of invisible power or certain powers that are not visible on the surface.
According to him, Yusril's move to become the attorney for four cadres of the Democratic Party for the Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko is questionable because Yusril has no real or visible interest. defending the interests of those who have given him power because there is no real interest there, but rather to defend the interests of certain powers that are not visible to the surface (or) invisible power," said Benny in a written statement, Tuesday, October 12.
