Indonesia's Latest COVID-19 Vaccination: 58.4 Million Residents Have Completely Inoculated
JAKARTA - The Indonesian Ministry of Health reports that 58,405,580 Indonesians have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Tuesday, October 12, 2021.
Meanwhile, the number of residents who received the two doses of the vaccine increased by 798,380 people.
The number of recipients of the first dose of vaccine increased by 1,040,519 people so that it is now 101,362,894 people.
The Ministry of Health also said that the recipients of the third vaccine dose had reached 1,026,722 people or an increase of 7,351 people.
In addition to announcing the latest data on the recipients of the first, second and third doses of vaccine, the Ministry of Health also released a vaccination target of 208,265,720 people.
"On Tuesday, there was an increase in the number of positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 as many as 1,261 cases," said the press from the Ministry of Health as quoted by Antara in Jakarta, Tuesday, October 12. Meanwhile, the increase in the number of patients who recovered from COVID-19 transmission nationwide on Tuesday reached 2,130 patients.
Then the increase in the number of patients who died due to COVID-19 in the country was recorded at 47 patients.
Nationally, the number of active cases fell by 916 cases to 21,625 active cases.
The number of specimens examined on Friday was 276,363 specimens with a positivity rate of 0.86 percent.
