TNI Commander Marshal Hadi Makes Street Vendors In Riau Islands Smile, After Being Vaccinated He Was Given BLT Of IDR 1.2 Million And Social Assistance

TANJUNG PINANG - TNI Commander Marshal TNI Hadi Tjahjanto reviewed the implementation of the COVID-19 vaccination and handed over direct cash assistance (BLT) for street vendors (PKL) in Tanjung Pinang, Riau Islands Province (Kepri), Tuesday, October 12.

The assistance was given as one of the efforts of the TNI Commander to ease the burden on traders whose businesses were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

In this activity, around 1,500 people received Direct Cash Assistance for Street Vendors (BLTPKL) worth IDR 1.2 million for each person.

Not only that, the TNI Commander, who was accompanied by his wife Nanny Hadi Tjahjanto, also distributed 1,000 food packages to residents who took part in the COVID-19 vaccination at the Wan Sri Beni Hall of the Riau Islands Provincial Government Office, Tuesday.

The TNI Information Center stated that this mass vaccination was aimed at all residents of Tanjung Pinang City and Bintan Regency, and after vaccination, basic food packages were distributed to vaccination participants.

Vaccination at Wan Sri Beni Hall, Tuesday, used the COVID-19 vaccine made by Sinovac Biotech Ltd and AstraZeneca/Oxford University. The activity is open to the first and second doses of vaccination.

The vaccination activity involved 60 health workers from the TNI, Polri, and the Riau Islands Provincial Health Office.

The TNI Commander, during his working visit, was accompanied by Inspector General TNI Lt. Gen. Bambang Suswantoni, Head of BAIS TNI Lt. Gen. Joni Supriyanto, Commanders of the Joint Regional Defense Command (Pangkogabwilhan), and high-ranking TNI Headquarters officials.

The TNI commander in Tanjung Pinang, Tuesday, also inaugurated the Three Matra Monument and the Kogabwilhan I, II, III Headquarters.

The inauguration was marked by the signing of the inscriptions of three Kogabwilhan headquarters and a monument at the Kogabwilhan I Headquarters, Tanjung Pinang.
