Moeldoko Examined For Defamation Report 'Rental Hunter', Evidence Submitted Clarified By Investigators
JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko has finished giving testimony as a witness to the alleged defamation case. One of the information submitted regarding the chronology of the case.
"Explaining the chronology of events that occurred and accompanied by the available evidence," Moeldoko's lawyer, Otto Hasibuan, told reporters, Tuesday, October 12.
Regarding the evidence, during the examination, the investigative team also matched it with the chronology of the rent-seeking reports.
"So long before we submitted the evidence, it was just being verified and clarified," said Otto.
Then, Moeldoko also denied all the accusations made by the two ICW researchers as the reported parties. The first is about rent hunting and rice exports with PT Noorpay.
"In order to prove that, Mr. Moeldoko was present and examined as a reporter," said Otto.
Moeldoko previously reported Egi Primayogha and Miftah to the Criminal Investigation Unit of the National Police. The report relates to allegations of defamation regarding allegations of rent-seeking.
The decision to report the two ICW researchers was because his patience had run out. Because, Moeldoko has given a deadline for them to explain or clarify the allegations.
However, according to Moeldoko, ICW researchers have never done it. In fact, it does not show good faith.
