Viani Limardi Reveals PSI's Condition: Very Troubled, It's Not The Party I Used To Know
JAKARTA - Former Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) politician, Viani Limardi, said that currently, the PSI is very problematic. She considers PSI has changed since the time she joined the party.
"PSI is very problematic, it is no longer the party I used to know," said Viani in a short message, Tuesday, October 11.
Viani has been fired from a PSI cadre through a dismissal letter issued on September 25, 2021. She admitted that she did not accept the reason for her dismissal because she was accused of inflating recess funds.
In the letter to dismiss PSI's Central Executive Board (DPP), it was stated that Viani had often inflated recess funds of up to Rp302 million for 16 recess points.
However, after inspection, Acting Secretary of the DKI Jakarta DPRD, Augustinus, said that Viani had not inflated the intended budget.
"Every day, from morning to night, we work hard and wholeheartedly for the people of DKI Jakarta, even if we play around with our reputations," she said.
Therefore, she will file a lawsuit against PSI amounting to Rp1 trillion. In fact, there is a possibility that Viani will also file a criminal lawsuit. Currently, Viani admits that she is still compiling the material for the lawsuit together with her legal counsel.

"It is being processed because the preparation of the files takes time. A criminal lawsuit is also being prepared," said Viani. Now, Viani is still a member of the DKI DPRD. This is because PSI has not yet submitted a letter to dismiss Viani from party membership to the chairman of the DKI DPRD.
Furthermore, Viani admitted that at this time she had moved the Commission, from previously being in Commission D to Commission A of the DKI DPRD. However, this transfer was planned before Viani was fired from PSI.
"It wasn't me who asked to move, but indeed the assignment from the party at that time had been submitted long before my dismissal letter came out. So, I just officially moved today. However, the application was long before my dismissal," she concluded.
