Police Ask For Information From Moeldoko Who Reported 2 ICW Researchers
JAKARTA - Presidential Chief of Staff (KSP) Moeldoko will undergo an examination in the alleged defamation case regarding allegations of rent-seeking at the National Police's Criminal Investigation Unit. Moeldoko will be asked for information with the capacity as a reporter.
It is planned that the examination will take place today at around 15:00 WIB.
"That's what was scheduled (Moeldoko's questioning)," said the Head of the Criminal Investigation Department, Komjen Agus Andrianto, when contacted, Tuesday, October 12.
Scheduling this inspection is also a follow-up to the report some time ago. Where two researchers from Indonesia Corruption Watch (ICW) were reported.
Moeldoko officially reported Egi Primayogha and Miftah to the National Police Criminal Investigation Unit. The report relates to allegations of defamation regarding allegations of rent-seeking.
The decision to report the two ICW researchers was because his patience had run out. Because, Moeldoko has given a deadline for them to explain or clarify the allegations.
However, according to Moeldoko, ICW researchers have never done it until now. In fact, it does not show good faith.
Moeldoko's report is registered with the number LP/B/0541/IX/2021/SPKT/BARESKRIM POLRI dated 10 September 2021.
