Deputy Governor Riza Believes DKI Will Be Able To Build 22,000 Infiltration Wells Throughout 2021
JAKARTA - Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta Ahmad Riza Patria is confident that his party will be able to complete more than 22,000 construction of vertical infiltration or drainage wells throughout the year until the end of 2021.
"Hopefully all infiltration wells will be completed by the end of the year with a target of 22,000. Earlier I asked the Water Resources Service, the implementation has been divided. Hopefully, it can be completed," said Riza at DKI City Hall, Monday, October 11.
According to Riza, the target of adjusting the flood control program, which is the mainstay of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan since the beginning of his tenure, could be achieved because it was carried out in several regional work units (SKPD).
In fact, said Riza, many company vendors have joined, based on the results of the auction, to work on the project.
"That's a lot, more than 30 to 40 companies that were given the task, the opportunity, to do it," said Riza.
A few days ago, Riza admitted to reviewing the work on vertical drainage or infiltration wells on Jl. Karang Tengah Raya, RT 13/RW 3, Lebak Bulus, Cilandak, South Jakarta.
Riza said that the construction of the infiltration well is a priority program of the Natural Resources Service. This year, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government targets the construction of 22,292 infiltration wells. And thank God, now it has finished at 6,233 points.
"We will continue to improve flood prevention, control and management programs like this. Likewise, the mud raid program is quite effective in reducing inundation and flooding points," he explained.
For information, Anies has promised to build 1.8 million infiltration wells until 2022. This is stated in the Regional Medium Term Program Plan (RPJMD) 2017-2922. However, due to lack of realization, the target was reduced.
