Two Police Officers With The Rank Of Bripka Involved In Tangerang Pilkades Money Politics, The Case Is Handled By The Metro Police
TANGERANG - Tangerang Police Chief Kombes Wahyu Sri Bintoro, revealed that two police officers were suspected of being involved in money politics in the simultaneous village head elections (Pilkades) in Tangerang Regency, Banten.
The two police officers involved in money politics have the initials SU (40) and SO (43), both of whom hold the rank of Bripka who served in the Mobile Brigade Unit of the Polda Metro Jaya.
"Yes, that's right, there are two police officers. Now the case has been transferred to the Satbrimob Polda Metro to be investigated for the violation," said Police Chief Wahyu through his short message in Tangerang, reported by Antara, Monday, October 11.
He said that at this time his party had submitted cases of violations committed by the two officers to the origin of their unit for further processing.
"It will be investigated and fingerprinted for sure," he said.
Previously, from information obtained, that on Saturday, October 9, at around 13.00 WIB, patrol officers from the Panongan Police secured the two positions who were guarding the success team of one of the candidates for the village head in Ranca Kelapa Village, Panongan District, Tangerang Regency.
In addition to this security, it was also known that a number of people were distributing money to local residents in order to elect the village head candidate.
Furthermore, officers from the Panongan Police immediately secured a number of groups of people and police officers to the Tangerang Police Headquarters for investigation purposes.
Meanwhile, the simultaneous Pilkades in 77 villages in Tangerang Regency was held on Sunday, October 10, and now the Pilkades process has entered the stage of collecting the number of ballots.
