BNN-Police Joint Team Arrests Methamphetamine Courier In Surabaya
SURABAYA - A joint team of police and the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) arrested a junior high school graduate. He is suspected of being an intermediary or courier for selling methamphetamine.
Head of the Narcotics Investigation Unit of the Surabaya Police, Kompol Daniel Somanonasa, said the suspect had the initials RF (28). From the sale of the methamphetamine, he received a reward of Rp. 3 million from the dealer.
"This RF is controlled by a dealer named CT who is currently on the list of people looking for people (DPO) by officers," said Daniel Somanonasa, confirmed, Monday, October 11.
From the suspect's hands, the joint team secured 56.17 grams of crystal methamphetamine and 15 ecstasy pills. This Kalanganyar resident, Sedati Sidoarjo, was arrested in his boarding room in Balunggabus Hamlet, Monday, October 4.
"The suspect RF is just waiting for orders from his boss (CT) to sell methamphetamine," said Daniel.
There was also evidence that was secured during the arrest of the suspect RF in the form of 10 plastic clips containing 56.17 grams of methamphetamine and 1 plastic clip containing 15 pills of ecstasy with a total weight of 7.04 grams. Then 3 pieces of electric scales, 1 cellphone and 1 notebook.
The suspect is subject to Article 114 Paragraph (2) subsidiary to Article 112 Paragraph (2) Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 35 of 2009 concerning Narcotics.
