Temanggung Regency Government Proposes 120 Thousand Vaccine Doses To The Ministry Of Health, Regent Guarantees 10 Days Of Sold Out

TEMANGGUNG - The Temanggung Regency Government, Central Java, proposed an additional 120 thousand doses of COVID-19 vaccine to the Ministry of Health. This is for the vaccination acceleration program and lowering the regional PPKM level from 3 to level 2.

Temanggung Regent M. Al Khadziq said that the Temanggung Regency Government was trying to request a shipment of vaccines with an adequate amount of around 120,000 doses.

"We have asked the Ministry of Health. If 120 thousand doses are given to Temanggung God willing, within 10 days it can be completely distributed to the community, because we have prepared all the vaccinator teams, their working capacity can be increased even more," he said in Temanggung, Antara, Monday, October 11th.

He said that if 120 thousand doses of vaccine were given to the community, Temanggung would drop to level 2 again so that people could carry out their normal activities as before.

"The plan is that tomorrow morning, we together with the leadership of the DPRD will be received by the Director General of Infectious Diseases at the Ministry of Health to submit a request that specifically for Temanggung Regency to be allocated that much vaccine to lower the level," he said.

He conveyed that COVID-19 cases in Temanggung Regency remained sloping, transmission was very low, death rate was low, hospitalization was also very low.

"This shows that the COVID-19 situation in the community is actually under control," he said.

According to him, almost all of the indicators to determine the level of COVID-19 are all low and Temanggung should have entered level 2 and even approaching level 1, but indeed the achievement of vaccination so far has not reached 50 percent so administratively the level has risen to level 3.

"This is the level on paper, if on the field it is actually at level 2," he said.
