Victims Of The Baladewa Flats Fire In Johar Baru Get Food And Clothing Aid From Social Service
JAKARTA - Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept. handed over a number of aids to fire victims on Jalan Rusun Baladewa, Block 3, RT 006/014, Tanah Tinggi Village, Johar Baru District, Central Jakarta.
The fire that hit four residences in the Tanah Tinggi Flats (Rustanti), 5th Floor, Block 3, No.508 forced 7 families (KK) with 15 people to evacuate. The victims were finally accommodated in the evacuation post of the RPTRA Rusun Tanah Tinggi.
"As many as 50 boxes of ready-to-eat food were given to fire victims. Meanwhile, ready-to-eat meals were given for 3 days to refugees at the Rustanti RPTRA," said Head of Central Jakarta Social Sub-dept. Abdul Salam, Monday, October 11.
In addition to food, fire victims also received blankets, sardines, sanitary napkins, underwear, mattresses, towels, women's clothing, mukena, silverware, sarongs, diapers, negligee, prayer rugs and small towels.
"The aid was symbolically handed over by the Head of PPFM Sos in Central Jakarta and received by the Head of Tanah Tinggi. If there is a return request from the Lurah, we will send the clothing aid again," he said.
