Against, Civil Servants Throw Away The Ticket
JAKARTA - The State Civil Apparatus (ASN) fought the police when they were caught in Operation Patuh Jaya 2020 for crossing the busway route in East Jakarta on Thursday 23 July.
This person from one of the government agencies argued that he was in a hurry and did not know that there was a police raid while crossing the TransJakarta route. In fact, this person threw away the ticket certificate given by the officer.
"There is a refusal of violators, it is normal, until the ticket is thrown away," said Head of East Jakarta Traffic and Traffic Police (Jaktim) AKP Sigit Kris quoted from Antara.
The police then continued to ticket and confiscate the vehicle registration certificate (STNK) that was being driven.
"We still get tickets, our STNK is confiscated. If you need evidence, please come directly to our office in Kebon Nanas," said Sigit.
In this activity, as many as 40 drivers were ticketed by the East Jakarta Polrestro Traffic Unit within 30 minutes of the first day of Operation Patuh Jaya 2020 on Jalan Mayjen Sutoyo, Thursday morning.
"Since the operation was held at 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 p.m. WIB or about 30 minutes, 40 of our motorists have ticketed," said Sigit.
The majority of those who are ticketed are motorcyclists who cross the TransJakarta route, which is prohibited from being crossed by motorbikes or private cars.
According to Sigit, the number is expected to continue to increase because similar activities are also being held in other areas including Jalan Ahmad Yani, Jalan DI Panjaitan, Jalan Pemuda and Jalan Matraman.
"In accordance with the leadership's direction, we will do it by mobile on the main roads of East Jakarta," he said.
Sigit added that the operation this time was carried out until August 5, 2020, targeting traffic order violators to complete driving permits.
