JAKARTA - The National Police Criminal Investigation Unit has deployed a team from the Investigative Supervision Bureau (Wassidik) to audit the investigation into reports of the father's rape of three children in East Luwu, South Sulawesi.
"We're just checking whether the investigation steps are carried out in accordance with the clarifications that have been submitted by the South Sulawesi Police," said the National Police's Criminal Investigation Officer, Komjen Agus Andrianto, during confirmation, Monday, October 11.
By doing this audit, whether there is an error in the case handling process will be seen. From there, the next steps can be determined.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police Inspector General Argo Yuwono said the Wassidik team had arrived at the South Sulawesi Police. Currently, the audit process has begun.
"At work. Starting today. If there are developments, they will be reported," said Argo.
Previously reported, the South Sulawesi Police confirmed the legal process and the results of the post-mortem for three children suspected of having been sexually assaulted or sexually abused by their father with the initials SA in 2019 in East Luwu Regency, South Sulawesi, according to procedures.
"The results of the post-mortem show that all results are not available. I convey that it is related to sexual abuse, of course there must be damage to the sexual organs. Even though the child is 10 years old, he was not found at all," said Head of Public Relations of the South Sulawesi Police, Kombes E Zulpan, to reporters in Makassar. .
In addition, the recommendations issued in accordance with the oath of office by the Bhayangkara Hospital doctor and the South Sulawesi Regional Police Biddokes stated that there were no abrasions from entering objects (sexual organs) and so on.
"Based on the post-mortem recommendation, investigators could not find any evidence related to the report. Moreover, there has been no police report, still a complaint report, an investigation has not yet been investigated. It can be published if there is evidence," Zulpan explained.
