Recipients Of The Second Dose Of COVID-19 Vaccine Reaches 57.4 Million People
JAKARTA - The number of Indonesians who have received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine has increased to 57,409,303 people. On this day there were 500,639 additional people who underwent the second vaccination.
According to data from the Ministry of Health, quoted by Antara, Sunday, October 10, it was also recorded that there were 686,187 additional recipients of the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. A total of 100,059,481 people have received the first dose of various types of COVID-19 vaccines used in Indonesia.
While the recipients of the third dose, which is currently still intended for health workers, have reached 1,015,463 people or an increase of 5,197 people.
With the addition of the vaccine recipients, 27.57 percent of the 208,265,720 people targeted by the government to receive a complete COVID-19 vaccination have been achieved in order to gain group immunity against COVID-19.
The details of the vaccination achievements so far are that 1,856,103 health workers have received the second vaccine from the target of 1,468,764 people.
For the elderly category, from the target of 21,553,118 people, 4,604,919 people have been achieved. Meanwhile, public service officers have been vaccinated twice to 21,443,749 people from 17,327,167 targets.
Meanwhile, 25,704,639 people from the vulnerable and general categories of society received two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine, out of 141,211,181 targeted people. For the age group 12-17 years, complete vaccination has been carried out for 2,894,584 people from the target of 26,705,490 people.
Data from the Ministry of Health also shows that today there were 894 additional COVID-19 cases. With the addition of patients recovered as many as 1,584 people and 39 people died from the disease.
