VIDEO: Getting To Know The Charming Sutjiati At PON XX Papua, Willing To Leave The US National Team To Defend Indonesia

JAKARTA - The figure of Sutjiati Kelanaritma Narendra is getting the attention of many people. Not only her performance in PON XX Papua, but there is a story of this gymnast from Lampung who stole the attention. She was willing to leave the United States national team to defend Indonesia.

She made her first debut in PON XX Papua, with the Lampung Contingent. In this event, Sutjiati still admitted that she was nervous when she appeared for the first time. Even though her work together in the United States national team was also not arbitrary.

Sutjiati, who was born in New York, USA, has also made a big decision when she left the US gymnastics team and chose to join to defend Indonesia since 2019. She also had problems when she wanted to change her citizenship from the US to Indonesia. But that did not dampen his determination to defend the Red and White.

When joining the Indonesian junior gymnastics national team, Sutjiati has also appeared in international gymnastics championships such as in Russia and Thailand.

But appearing in PON still she admitted nervous. "It's very intense here. This is very different,” said Sutjiati.
