Studio Ghibli Releases First Official Movie Themed Merchandise

JAKARTA - The largest animation production house in Japan, Studio Ghibli, for the first time released merchandise themed on their films. If they are known for their film and music releases, now they are exploring the fashion line with their official collections.

Titled the Hawaiian Collection, this clothing line named GBL features merchandise with visuals in the style of iconic Ghibli films such as Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, and many others.

This collection was launched in order to welcome summer. T-shirts and long skirts are displayed using print motifs typical of Ghibli films. This accent makes the cheerful impression even more radiant.

Not only clothing merchandise, skateboards decorated with Ghibli images were also presented for Studio Ghibli fans. An interesting alternative this studio provides considering this is the latest Studio Ghibli offering.

Indeed, Studio Ghibli can not do much in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Due to this situation, they had to close down museums in Japan and postpone plans for the release of their latest film, Aya to Majo. Even so, all Studio Ghibli films can be watched on all digital streaming services.
