Violating COVID-19 Rules, Choi Jin Hyuk Decides To Take A Break

JAKARTA - Actor Choi Jin Hyuk chose to take a break from all his activities after violating the COVID-19 rules.

Today, October 8, Choi Jin Hyuk's agency, G-Tree Creative apologized for their actor visiting a bar in the middle of the pandemic. It is known that currently the COVID-19 regulations state that bars in South Korea cannot be opened.

They explained, Choi Jin Hyuk met up with a friend on Wednesday, October 6. His friend took him to a bar which he said was still operating until 22.00.

As it turned out, this bar was opened illegally so Choi Jin Hyuk didn't know that he couldn't come to the bar.

"He (Choi Jin Hyuk) was at the place because his friend suggested the bar to be a place to talk. But because the bar is not allowed to open, he is considered to have violated COVID-19 rules," G-Tree Creative quoted Soompi as saying.

The agency said that currently Choi Jin Hyuk did not deny his actions. "He reflected on himself and thought he would not repeat this mistake in the future."

Through his personal Instagram account, Choi Jin Hyuk wrote, "My heart feels heavy and I can't help but apologize for my actions. It's very embarrassing to know that everyone is working hard to get through this situation together."

Due to this, Choi Jin Hyuk chose to withdraw from the variety show My Little Old Boy where he was a regular host. SBS also tried to edit Choi Jin Hyuk's appearance considering that he had already filmed for several new episodes.
