Agung Mozin-Neno Warisman Leaves, Head Of The Ummah Party: It's A Small Thing, We Are Solid!
JAKARTA - The general chairman of the Ummat Party, Ridho Rahmadi, said his party had no problem with Amien Rais loyalists leaving the party.
"As for one or two people who came out, it's a small thing," said Ridho at the Ummat Party's DPP office as reported by Antara, Jakarta, Friday, October 8.
Previously, two loyalists of Amien Rais as the founder of the Ummat Party resigned from the party, namely Agung Mozin as Deputy Chairperson of the Ummat Party DPP and Neno Warisman as Deputy Chair of the Ummat Party DPP Syuro Council.
Ridho emphasized that the exit of the two loyalists would not affect the performance of the party that has been built at this time. Ridho denied that the exit of the two party elites was a political scenario to grow the Ummat Party.
"They really resigned, to come back again we do not know," said Ridho.
The son-in-law of Amien Rais denied that the exit of the party elite was due to their interests which were not accommodated in the Ummat Party. "There are no divisions and we remain solid," said Ridho.
Ridho said that the current challenge for the party is to accommodate those who want to join the party and want a strategic position. Regarding the change in the names of those who have resigned, Ridho stated that he is still waiting for the results of the party deliberations.
