Novel Baswedan Et Al Create IM 57+ Institute, KPK Opens Collaboration Opportunities

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) opened an opportunity to cooperate with the Indonesia Calling (IM) 57+ Institute formed by Novel Baswedan et al after they were expelled at the end of September.

Although he does not understand the purpose of establishing the institution, Deputy Chairperson of the KPK, Nurul Ghufron, said the possibility of this collaboration is open if they have the same vision and mission as the anti-corruption commission, namely eradicating corruption.

"I don't understand what the orientation or motivation of my friends is for establishing the IM 57+ Institute. Once again, what is clear is that the KPK will continue to eradicate corruption in collaboration with all levels of society, including with anyone possible with the IM 57+ Institute," Ghufron told reporters. , Friday, October 8th.

However, they must have the same attitude in an effort to eradicate corrupt practices in the country.

"If the commitment and institutional orientation is to eradicate corruption, the KPK will certainly be open to collaborating with anyone," said Ghufron.

As previously reported, dozens of employees who were expelled from the KPK established the IM 57+ Institute to continue the work of eradicating corruption. This anti-corruption institution will unite with the Anti-Corruption Civil Society Coalition to carry out work tailored to the capabilities of the employees still on duty at the KPK.

In addition, this institution was also formed because the employees feel indebted to the community. Remember, they used to be paid from public money and get the ability when carrying out their duties.

"It's not the people who owe us but we owe it to the Indonesian people to return all knowledge, all knowledge. Those who will later fill the IM 57+ Institute are the former Deputy for Coordination and Supervision of the KPK Hery Muryanto; former Director of PJKAKI KPK Sujanarko; former KPK investigator Novel Baswedan; former Director of Socialization and Anti-Corruption Campaign of the KPK Giri Suprapdiono; and former Head of the KPK HR Bureau Chandra SR as the Executive Board.

In addition, there will also be an Investigation Board consisting of senior investigators and investigators, a Law and Strategic Research Board consisting of legal experts and senior researchers, and an Education and Training Board consisting of experts in anti-corruption education and training.
