Loss Of Control, Honda Jazz Driver Dies After Crashing Into Baja Shop

JAKARTA - AP (22) a Honda Jazz car driver with number B 2184 KMA was found dead at the scene.

The victim suffered serious injuries after being involved in a single accident on Jalan Colonel Soegiono towards the East, Duren Sawit District, East Jakarta.

"At the time of the incident, the car was traveling quite fast from West to East across Jalan Raya Colonel Soegiono," said Aiptu Suhardi, a member of Unit 1 Laka Satlantas Polrestro East Jakarta to reporters, Friday, October 8.

Arriving around the Duren Sawit area, after passing through the Pondok Bambu Flyover, the car lost control and crashed into several business buildings.

"The victim's car crashed into a beauty salon and a steel material shop. The car suffered damage to the front, while the victim's car driver was seriously injured," he said.

After the crime scene was carried out by Laka Satlantas Polrestro officers, East Jakarta, the victim was found to have suffered serious head injuries.

"The victim died on the spot due to severe head injuries. The victim's body has been evacuated to the Friendship Hospital, East Jakarta. We have also contacted the victim's family," he said.
