Di Maria, Mancini And Vialli Mentioned In Pandora Papers

JAKARTA - Angel Di Maria, Roberto Mancini and Gianluca Vialli are three important football figures named in the leaked documents known as the Pandora Papers.

The Pandora Papers are the result of an investigation by the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists or ICIJ. The investigation involved more than 600 journalists from 150 media outlets in 117 countries.

The investigation is based on the leak of confidential data from 14 offshore companies that regulate shell companies in tax havens.

So far, the Pandora Papers have uncovered a number of offshore accounts based on tax havens, some of which are owned by world leaders.

Di Maria, meanwhile, was fined two million euros by the Spanish justice system for failing to pay taxes on his image rights income in the 2012/13 season during his tenure at Real Madrid.

However, the Argentine star continues to send part of his earnings to the company Sunpex, which he founded and is based in Panama.

According to L'Espresso, as reported by MARCA, the Paris Saint-Germain player signed an agreement with Sunpex to receive the profits made from Adidas.

While several other companies negotiated financial amounts for certain Di Maria ad campaigns, some of them were worth 150,000 euros.

Mancini and Vialli were also involved in the Pandora Papers. Unlike the tax-related Di Maria, their case is an offshore company based in the British Virgin Islands, which is in the Caribbean.

Reportedly, Italy coach Mancio is a shareholder of a company called Bastian Asset Holdings, which owns, among other things, an airplane.
