Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution Seriously Fixes Exemplary Stadium For PSMS Awakening

MEDAN - Medan Mayor Bobby Nasution emphasized that he is paying serious attention to fixing the Teladan Stadium for the revival of the PSMS Medan club, which is playing in League 2 this season.

"Not only facilities and infrastructure, but also for PSMS to be victorious again by revitalizing the pride of the citizens of Medan City, which was built in 1951," said Bobby Nasution in Medan, quoted by Antara, Thursday, October 7.

To realize this, Bobby Nasution said the first thing to do is to transfer the authority to handle the Exemplary Stadium, because so far it has been managed by the Medan City Cleanliness and Parks Service (DKP).

He admitted that now the handling of the stadium has been transferred to the Medan City Youth and Sports Service (Dispora) to receive assistance from the Ministry of Youth and Sports (Kemenpora).

"We have delegated all of this. Even though the budget can come from the Dispora, we have not been able to get assistance so far. This means that the Ministry of Youth and Sports cannot provide assistance to DKP," said Bobby Nasution.

Regarding the repair of the Exemplary Stadium, Bobby Nasution said that the application could be submitted to the Ministry of Youth and Sports. Later, when the budget is approved, it will go down through the Medan Dispora.

"That way we can fix it. This is our way so that the management and improvement of the Teladan Stadium can be done without using a budget sourced from the APBD," continued Bobby Nasution.

"This is our contribution so that PSMS can play comfortably. For that we will always 'support', one of which is through improving the Exemplary Stadium," said Bobby.
