Jason Derulo Protests That His Gender Is Not Seen In The Film Cats
JAKARTA - Singer Jason Derulo will show his ability in acting in Cats. However - through the Andy Cohen Live interview program on Sirius XM - he protested that his genitals were not visible in the live action film.
Cats uses CGI (Computer-Generated Imagery) technology in its production process. However, this visual effects technology has actually received various blasphemies and disappointments from many parties. One of them, Derulo.
"They did CGI on my genitals, yes, they did CGI. I realized that, "said Derulo. Launched NME, Wednesday, December 17. "125 percent. I'm sure I can see that in the trailer. "
The trailer for the Cats film was first uploaded last July. Instead of inviting admiration, it actually creates scorn because the character design is ambiguous and unsightly. The 'revised' version was uploaded last November 19.
Despite his protests, Derulo was not completely bothered by it. "Maybe to make as cat-like as possible, I think that's because of it."
Derulo then told me, when filming, he mostly only wore black underwear. This can be seen from his Instagram upload before being deleted by the social media for violating the rules.
"It's actually funny," he replied, remembering when he ran in that outfit for four months.
Cats is scheduled to air December 20. This film tells the story of the life of Jellicles, a group of cats who come together to make the annual "Jellicle choice". There, they decide which cat should ascend to the Heaviside Layer, a heaven-like place where cats are reborn.
Directed by Tom Hooper ('The King's Speech' and 'Les Misérables') the film features some of the biggest names in entertainment. Apart from Derulo, there are names such as James Corden, Idris Elba, Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Swift Derulo, and Rebel Wilson who will compete with veteran actor Sir Ian McKellen.
