Action Of 1,000 Candles At Malang City Hall, Mass Urges Police To Completely Complete Case Of Violating PPKM Walkot Sutiaji

MALANG - Police are supported to thoroughly investigate the alleged violation of PPKM Malang Mayor Sutiaji who was cycling with his entourage. This support was carried out with the action of 1,000 candles in front of Malang City Hall.

The Coordinator of the 1000 Lilin Action, Danny Agung hopes that law enforcement against public officials in Malang City will continue. Public officials should set a good example, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“Prove that the law is not only sharp down but blunt up. We from the community will continue to monitor this case. Don't allow selective slashing,” Danny said, Thursday, October 7.

Danny gave an example of the legal process against public officials, such as the case of the son of the Head of Gading Village, Bululawang, Malang. The village head's son became a suspect for violating the health protocol (prokes) for holding a celebration with dangdutan.

While the action of 1,000 candles is expected to be a symbol of the legal process still 'lit' alias running.

"We hope that the East Java Regional Police will seriously handle this case," Danny said.
