There Are 7 COVID-19 Patients In Garut, 6 Additional Active Cases Per Day

GARUT - There are seven active patients who are still undergoing treatment at the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Dr. Slamet, Garut Regency, West Java. There are 27 patients undergoing self-isolation.

This data was conveyed by Public Relations of the Garut Regency COVID-19 Task Force, Yeni Yunita as quoted from Antara. "Now there are seven more people who are still being treated at the hospital," Yeni said, Thursday, October 7.

It's just that based on daily reports from the Task Force, new cases are still found. So far, six people have tested positive for COVID-19. "The RT PCR results obtained were confirmed to be positive for COVID-19 in six cases," he said.

He said that although there were still new cases, the number of patients who were declared cured continued to increase.

Overall positive confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Garut, said Yeni, reached 24,696 cases, 23,492 cases were declared cured, and 1,170 cases died.

Yeni appealed to all levels of society to remain vigilant by increasing awareness of health protocol disciplines such as wearing masks, maintaining distance, and not crowding even though COVID-19 cases in Garut fell.
